Dr. Ian Marks · Veterinarian

Dr. Ian Marks grew up in Plant City, Florida and received a bachelor’s degree from Barry University and a doctorate degree from St. George’s University. He always knew he wanted to become a healthcare provider. Initially, Dr. Marks wanted to pursue human medicine; however, having a Dad as a veterinarian, he chose to follow in his dad's footsteps and am very happy that he did.

Dr. Marks loves all aspects of veterinary medicine, but has a passion for emergency medicine, laser surgery, and geriatrics.

When not working, he enjoys fishing, boating, being outdoors, and traveling.

Dr. Jaleesa Scott · Veterinarian

Dr. Jaleesa Scott grew up in Stafford, Virginia. She received her undergraduate degree at Ferrum College and then graduated from Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018.

Dr. Scott has worked in general practice ever since, and loves working with birds and pocket pets. She brings Fear Free Certification to Ranch Animal Hospital as well.

When not working, Dr. Scott can be found under the sea (scuba diving), at the beach, kayaking, or completing a puzzle. You may also catch her at Disney World or Universal Studios!

Dr. Kellie Fridlund · Veterinarian

Dr. Kellie Fridlund was born and raised in the Clearwater, FL area. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Zoology from the University of Florida and worked as a veterinary technician throughout college.

Then, Dr. Fridlund went off to the University of Glasgow in Scotland to study veterinary medicine. Being able to combine travel and education has been a dream for Dr. Fridlund; allowing her to complete externships in places such as Belize, Turkey, South America, and New Zealand.

Dr. Fridlund knew she wanted to be a veterinarian since childhood; she even started her own pet-sitting service in her neighborhood before her parents allowed her to get a dog.

Her special interests lay in internal medicine, cardiology, and ultrasonography.

When not caring for her patients, she can be found spending time with her two dogs: Avie (Viszla), and Lyla (Australian Shepherd mix), as well as her two cats, Raja and Shanti. She also loves exploring new cities, hiking, paddle boarding, yoga, SCUBA diving, and snowboarding.
